The winter months will bring on fierce but invigorating southeast storms. Then from May until October the huge fleet of cruise ships can be an entertaining watch from the deck, as they pass by one after another making their way south. There seems to be no shortage of wildlife living, feeding, and playing along the water front or high above. It may be bald eagles, ravens, deer, mink, otter, seals, sea lions, dolphins, porpoise, or whales. How would you like to wake up to a vibrant sunrise or the call of a loon? Our particular beach is covered by a combination of gravel, sand, and boulders. The tide line is littered with twisted driftwood waiting to be found. The beach access is great for kayak launching and evening bonfires, when permitted. Nestled back in the trees, Sea 4 Miles has two cottages. They are located along Kaleva road, just 2 km from the village of Sointula & ferry dock. This road follows the south shoreline for eight kilometers, with ocean vistas on the right and the island farms and acreage on the left. As for the atmosphere here, you and the family can immediately kick back, unwind, and feel right at home. Proudly we offer the very best in accommodations, spotless and conveniently equipped.

of; wildlife, tides, and ships navigating the always interesting
waters of Broughton Strait. Standing tall in the background
of this brilliant southern exposure is the majestic Vancouver
Island mountain range. To the east as far as the eye can see
is the entrance to the famous Broughton Archipelago Marine Park.
